Peter Robinson

2026 marks Pete’s debut at BEAT. Pete is a self-taught ceramicist, whose introduction to clay and glazes was facilitated by his friend Paul @psdpots in 2024. Most of Pete’s work features both ornamental and functional qualities, utilising slab construction techniques and bold glazing methods. He specialises in producing vibrant bowls and dishes with diverse shapes, forms and surface textures. By applying layered glazes and fluxes, Pete achieves striking visual effects. His pieces are crafted from stoneware clay, and the majority are food safe and suitable for use in dishwashers.
