Cres Gee

I am a young multidisciplinary disabled/neuro-diverse self-taught artist whose work merges abstract, drawing, painting, doodling, graffiti and fashion designs. I love art because it gives me a space where intuition leads the way.

I create portraits, still life, seascapes, landscape, architectural drawings, abstract drawings and paintings.

I live in Ealing and attend college studying photography. I also did courses in pottery and sewing. I attended City Lit college in Covent Garden studying reflexology and performing art.

In the past, I have been a singer in a neuro diverse pop band. I was involved in band meetings, practicing regularly each week. I also performed in the group at the Waterman Art Centre and the local event in Hanwell Hootie Musical and Festival.

I enjoy art and I love art creation every day. I love art because it gives me a space where intuition leads the way. There is no pressure to explain or justify what I am doing. Creating art reflects something real. My work is rooted in intuition. I create every day not from formal prompts, a space where instinct leads and thought follows.

This practice keeps me connected to myself. Each piece becomes a snapshot of a feeling, a moment. Some days the art is colourful, other days it is subtle, but it always reflects something beautiful and honest. I have learned to trust the creative impulse and let it guide me without hesitation. For me art is a way of moving through the world.

Creating intuitively allows me to express what I cannot always articulate in words, and the freedom is what keeps me returning to art paper, the pencil, the pen, the paint day after day.

Creating daily artwork without any formal training, I have developed a distinctive visual language shaped by intuition, nature experimentation and personal exploration. My work reflects a commitment to creating artwork as a lived practice rather than a learnt technique. I enjoy experimenting with assorted styles and colours that inspire me.

My creative skills are music, dancing and amateur DJ skills. I also enjoy swimming and bowling regularly.
