Anna Ross

I am an amateur artist, fitting drawing - and occasionally painting - around a busy job and family life. After taking part in introduction to drawing and painting courses at the Fine Art Room in Northfields, I found my confidence and am now at my happiest drawing, whether using a mechanical pencil or stippling with an ink fine liner. I am a details person, but also like playing with negative space. I draw for myself - taking part in daily drawing challenges, a weekly portrait group and the annual Inktober - but I also like to share my art and raise funds for the World Land Trust in the process. Last year was my first year exhibiting at BEAT and I really enjoyed all the conversations over the course of the two weekends. I look forward to many more conversations and hopefully raising some more money for the World Land Trust.
