Olga Rosenbaum

I like to use strong colour, verve and a touch of humour in paintings that give a twist to reality or idealised visions from my imagination. I enjoy ranging across different styles of work. I paint people, landscapes, buildings, interior settings, or sometimes just go with where colour and shape take me. Inspired by places I've been to, sights I've seen, and people I've met, I seek exuberance and a little chaos rather than total harmony. Over the course of a long life, painting has absorbed me, and given me a focus through which to view, appreciate and engage with the world around.
