Gilli Hope Rézard
Reimagined landscapes inspired by light, colour and space. The work explores the fine line between representation, abstraction and the depth of field between the present and the past: internal and external landscapes, absence, presence and the space grief creates. Memories engraved and embedded in space. Landscapes are explored through memory, colour, shape and intuition. They emerge and are evocative of places visited.
Small and large mixed media acrylic paintings on canvas, wooden panels and paper. Giclée prints and cards.
I have lived and worked as a secondary art teacher and mentor in Ealing since I moved here in the early 2000’s.
