Neil Lemaire

Neil Lemaire is a London-based bronze artist creating biomorphic sculptures, decorative vessels, and bespoke bronze artworks. He blends traditional bronze casting techniques, particularly the ancient lost-wax method, with contemporary designs, resulting in distinctive pieces admired for their organic shapes, intricate textures, and vibrant patinas.

Inspired by nature and human engineering, Neil’s sculptures explore themes of chaos, entropy, and the balance between natural forces and human intervention. Each artwork is carefully handcrafted, reflecting his commitment to technical excellence and creative innovation. His unique oxidised blue patinas are a defining characteristic, adding depth and dynamic beauty to his creations.

Alongside his artistic practice, Neil is passionate about education, offering immersive workshops and personalised tuition in bronze casting, mould-making, wax sculpting, and Jesmonite casting. He fosters an engaging and approachable learning environment, encouraging participants to confidently develop their creative and technical skills.

Neil frequently exhibits his work, captivating audiences with his skilled craftsmanship and thoughtful concepts. Through both his art and teaching, he seeks to inspire a broader appreciation of traditional metalworking within contemporary art, inviting visitors and students alike to discover the joy and craftsmanship of bronze casting.
