Mana Catford

I have been screen printing and illustrating for the past 6 years. My silk screen prints reflect my love of bold colours and textures which gives them a contemporary look.

I love nature, especially trees, local parks and Kew Gardens are a constant source of inspiration. I collect vintage objects and often take photographs from which I create my compositions.

My illustration work especially for children's books and commissioned projects reflect my love of humour and are character driven. I use mixed media, watercolour, pastels and ink to create collages. I then use Photoshop to arrange layout and composition. For the past two years I have been creating a series of greeting cards printed by hand and digitally.
