Miranda Baxter
I am a mother, creative practitioner and project manager specialising in learning and culture.
I find inspiration in the layers, textures and colours in old magazines, found objects, and peeling surfaces in urban and natural spaces. I have been working on small egg tempera paintings of home interiors found in old architecture magazines and film, and making short video collages. Another project uses photo and collage to explore the experiences of an adolescent inpatient.
I experiment with and use different media: egg tempera, collage, photography and printmaking.

Mari Reigh Case
Mari is a mixed media artist who creates surreal paintings and sculptures. Mari painted throughout her childhood, and in her 20s, started working as a graphic designer/illustrator while continuing to paint and exhibit in her native Tokyo.
Coming to the UK in 2001, she didn’t pick up a paint brush again until 2020, when the double whammy of lockdown and a diagnosis of autism forced her to reassess herself. Painting enables her to express her emotions and accept herself for who she is.
The current themes of her art often consist of criticism/cynicism towards human society, and her struggle as a neurodivergent woman.

Kazuko Bottocchi
When Kazuko first came to London from Japan some twenty years ago she brought with her passion for pottery. Now her pottery is inspired by family, friends and the different cultures she has experienced. It is an ongoing journey as she explores identity through her art.
