Creative Four

Creative Four is a close-knit group of four artists who've known each other for a while, all sharing a love for art. They work in oils, acrylics, pencils, pastels and watercolours, inspired by landscapes, still life, nature, and everyday life. Each of them brings their own unique touch to their paintings, creating a mix of styles and mediums that show their individual creativity and their shared passion for art.

Irina Afonina
Landscapes and nature have always inspired me, with woods and meadows as my favourite themes.

The Forest is my sanctuary, a place where I feel at home. Though sometimes seen as dark, it represents creativity, hidden possibilities and new discoveries.

I also explore folklore elements and symbolism.

Penny Duszynski
I work mainly in oil and pastel, using everyday subjects and all kinds of outdoor scenes as inspiration. I prefer to work from life and, wherever possible, en plein air and have painted abroad in France (lots!), Italy, Poland and Australia as well as in the UK. Oil is a wonderful medium because of its richness of texture and translucency and the depth of colour achievable in depicting the world around us.

Celia Busby
I paint in a variety of different media, depending on the subject matter. I paint flowers in watercolours in what I call a ‘horticultural’ style – always from real flowers, never from photographs. I paint in acrylics, oils, pastels and pen and ink or wash, and sometimes mixed media/collage.

Polina Porotikova
Polina Porotikova is a member of Ealing Art Group. She works on canvases and boards with acrylic. She finds inspiration from painting flowers, landscapes and seascapes. Her paintings are recognisable with bright and bold colours.
