Abigail Elverd

Abigail Elverd is a London based artist, she has a BA in Fine Art and works across different disciplines from painting, printmaking, sculpture, and photography.

With her love for the old masters colour palette she uses various mark making techniques and processes to produce a range of mixed media works in a figurative style of Abstract Expressionism, this allows her work to be a spontaneous process in its unpredictability while connecting through the unconscious.

Working from her studio shed on an Allotment near her home she takes inspiration from her surroundings as well as her many travels around the world. Capturing her love of these places in all its forms, she is interested in the archaeological imprints etched into the landscape and more recently has been drawing on the past lives of her ancestors through their connections to Devon.
