As a child, fascinated by colour, I found it comforting to express my emotions through painting (unaware at the time).
At school I was taught Art where I used my mind and continued with it as part of my Fashion and Textiles course.
Over a decade later, I reconnected with Art in a completely different way - mindlessly (intuitively). It was during a period of darkness, through which a yearning for self-discovery began. Immersing in nature, meditation, travelling, spending time with animals and babies were, and still are some ways in which my being is nourished.
Each painting is a spontaneous unfolding of creative expression from the heart and in response to soul-calling - unbound and free (no ideas, plans and not limited to a particular style, technique, medium or colour palette).
Guided by the compass of being: speaking in colour, texture and movement - what cannot be expressed by saying.
I hope my art can be felt beyond the painting, as a deeper recognition of SELF (our true nature) - the pure light of love, joy and peace within all.
By grace, this gift was given and to share it with the world is a blessing that I am deeply grateful for.
