Annabel Lear
Annabel is a self taught, abstract artist. She sees painting as a creative escape and a chance for time to stand still, for both the artist and the viewer.
As someone who loves experimenting, Annabel struggles to keep to one art form. At present, she's exploring: fluid art, ethereal landscapes and abstract portraits. Inspired by our environment, energy and emotions, she tries to capture this essence through art and evoke this in the viewer.
Through this, her art is open to interpretation, with endless possibilities and she loves understanding what each viewer sees. A recovering perfectionist, she tries to incorporate the concept of Wabi Sabi into every piece; to find the beauty in all things imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.
