I started a pottery course one day a week over 4 years ago and have since branched out, working at home and sharing a studio kiln. As a retired engineer I enjoy building things, I prefer this to throwing, and like experimenting with shapes and textures working from ideas that spontaneously come into my head. The pieces tend to be fairly small and non-functional.
