Andrew is a Photographer based in Ealing, London, working within the field of Architecture, Interiors and Portraiture. Originally from Dudley in the West Midlands he graduated from Falmouth College of Arts with a BA(hons) degree in Photography in 2002. In early 2003 Andrew moved to Ealing to start working with various magazines and commercial clients worldwide.
Andrew has exhibited widely since graduating, picking up a few awards along the way and in 2009 he was awarded ‘Best in Book’ in Creative Review's Photography Annual for his series 'The Slaughtermen', his third project to be featured in the annual. In 2015 he was awarded a bursary by Photofusion Gallery to continue his 'Introversion' project with the final exhibition at the gallery in 2016. The work then moved to The Blacks Private Members Club in Central London as part of a permanent collection before being shown at last years BEAT, along with pieces from the archive and the Hashima Island project.
This years exhibition focuses on a body of work ranging through various projects that combine under an umbrella theme of 'Space and Spaces : Above and Below'. The subjects being rare glimpses from secretive underground power stations, aerial views of mountain ranges, landscapes taken at the dead of night in zero light and the night sky.
