Yaffa Meskell

Yaffa Meskell was born in Israel but moved to England in her twenties and settled in West London.

Yaffa has a passion for creating memorable portraits and capturing life’s special moments. She is known for being warm, friendly and approachable and for putting her clients at ease to make their photographic session fun and enjoyable. The connection she creates with people through her camera lens is so important in telling their stories.

‘Ava’ is one of a series of photographs taken during lockdown to document the changing atmosphere of the city and the ways people adapted to the restrictions imposed on them. Yaffa says, ‘At a time when human contact was forbidden it was a way to reach out and connect with people, and was as beneficial to me as to those I photographed’.
