Philip Michael Martin
Every picture tells a story so they say, and in my heavily textured paintings I like to think this is especially true. I would describe most of my pictures as being almost like stills from a film. Snapshots. Parts of a bigger story, that I hope the viewer wants to piece together. The composition of the images is as important to me as the story behind them. Sometimes I use words, sometimes not. Mainly I just want to paint what I would like to see on my own walls.
