George Goodlake

I am a self-taught illustrator and animator. My inspirations are wide-ranging and include David Hockney, as well as other cartoon illustrators and Manga art. I have always been passionate about all types of art genres, include fine, abstract, and digital.

I make both digital artwork and fine art. My illustrations often depict characters and animals using cartoonish style to bring both expression and humour. Some of my work includes versions of myself, alongside my family (and other friends). I work hard to develop the expressions of my characters to communicate how they are feeling, sometimes with the sense of humour.

I also use lino print techniques, one of my designs was recently displayed at the London Transport Museum, Convent Garden.
