Deep Panesar

I paint on pure silk scarves.  It has opened a new way of unleashing my passion for flowers and pretty looking items. I create my own designs from flowers in my garden or where ever I see beautiful plants, then transfer the pattern on silk and painting with either with silk paints or silk dyes. Scarves painted with dyes have to be steamed to fix the dye, which gives it a light sheen making it a beautiful piece of wearable art.

I also experiment with Eco Dying. This process involves using fresh flowers, leaves and other dyes extracted from other household items i.e. onion skins, avocado, red cabbage etc.
I love designing and making jewellery with semi-precious stones which I am still doing. However, I have stated to weave a bit complicated designs in seed and delicate beads.
I hope that you will find something which you would love to have for yourself or gift to someone you adore.
