My two big passions in life are art and children. I am constantly amazed by their brilliant and original ideas and celebrate the joy and freedom of their creative minds.
I am based in Ealing and have been very fortunate to teach art to children for the past 8 years, delivering a unique balance of artistic technique while they discover the joy and freedom of their self-expression, allowing the extraordinary ways they experience the world to merge in their artwork.
The beginning of my interaction with art can be traced to my childhood in Buenos Aires. I was always drawing, colouring, painting, and playing with my brothers and sister pretending I was their art teacher!
My parents nurtured my interest and took me to classes at a children's art academy and I have never stopped learning and experimenting with art since.
I have a degree in Developmental Psychology and in Art Therapy for Children and have worked with children aged 18 months to 16 years old, both at school and privately. Beauty is everywhere, in everything. The world around us is a constant inspiration, an unceasing arrangement and interplay of lights, colours, shapes, lines, patterns, and textures .
My work reflects the importance of being in the moment, feeling, experimenting, and expressing a story, my story.
At times I move from the richly saturated colours of acrylic paints and inks to a more toned-down palette of pastels or translucent and vibrant watercolours.
Painting is magic.
