Agata Henderson – Polka Dot Cow Designs
I'm a glass artist and garden designer based in Ealing. I work in my garden studio creating nature inspired fused glass panels, vessels and sculptures, stained glass panels, mosaic and jewellery.
Each artwork is one of a kind. I embrace the natural marks of the process, celebrating glass not as cold and perfect, but as dynamic, strong and beautifully fragile. I make my own glass panels using pattern bars, mesh melt, pot melt and powder paining which I then shape into organic forms by slumping over various objects in the kiln.
My background in fashion design and silversmithing led me to glass, a material of light, reflection and strength.
Polka Dot Cow reflects both my Polish roots (“Polka”) and playful creativity, inspired by a favourite childhood rhyme. It’s a name that blends heritage, joy and artistic spirit – just like my work.
