The Vibrant Colours

  • Kenton Recreation Ground Carlton Avenue Harrow, England, HA3 United Kingdom (map)

IMPACT Theatre a registered charity organisation is very pleased to invite you to:

'The Vibrant Colours'

an upcoming group Art Exhibition ( Free Entry) on Sat 20th May 2017 - 11am-5pm at The Old Bowls Club, Kenton Recreation Ground, Harrow, HA3 8AX.

Artists from IMPACT regularly study the work of both old Masters and Contemporary artists and the work displayed on Sat 20th May 2017 shows a sample of the studies they have made.

Looking closely at figure drawing the group copied the work of the American artist Norman Rockwell. They went on to focus on self portraits studying the work of Lucien Freud. The colour studies shown in the portfolio have all sold to a set designer for the film industry to be used in a television production.

In March the group visited the David Hockney exhibition at the TATE Gallery and the work you will see on shows the artists working in Hockney’s style. The artists will continue to study his work and inspired by the vibrant colours develop their own work.

Impact Theatre really does encourage its members to take part in the many aspects of the successful running of the company and facilitates as much input from its members as possible, and its main aims are to promote a positive image of disability and to develop communication and self-confidence, through participation in performing and creative arts.
